Earlier this week, I published my very first ever guest post over on Fish of Gold. Shameless plug: Get over there and check it out if you haven’t because it reeks with Unshittiness™. And so does Fish of Gold. Also earlier week, Stuphblog™ published its very first guest post, authored by none other than Goldfish herself. Throughout all of this hospitality I noticed something. Well, two things.
The first thing I noticed is that it was fun. It was a blast to invade somebody else’s space and leave my own imprint on it. My style is completely different from Goldy’s, but we see eye to eye on many things so it all worked. There were even outtake-worthy moments when she prematurely published me. All involved were duly embarrassed. But she told me it happens to everyone. She wouldn’t lie to save my feelings, would she? I think not.
The second thing I noticed as that it drove new readers to each site. The Stuph Mafia™ represented over at FOG, and many followers of FOG came over here. The Mafia grew larger as a result and I’m hoping Goldy ended up with new followers out of the exchange as well.
So what I’m getting at is this. If you would like to guest post here, or would like me to guest post on your blog let me know in the comments or via email at twindaddy44@aim.com. You can talk about anything you like here. If there’s a topic you’d like to broach, but it’s outside of the normal scope of your blog, post it here. If there’s something you’d like me to talk about on your blog, let me know! Or I can just come over to your blog and just be my dumbass self and entertain your readers. Hopefully.
Whatever the arrangement, it will benefit both blogs by exposing each author to a new audience. Think it over, would ya? I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Depends on what access you give me. Go to the dashboard and then to users. Then go to Invite New. Put my email in and send!

Author is the one I use. That way the blogger can upload pics and such if they want. Contributor means that you have to approve anything before it’s published.
You can’t put in pictures if I make you contributor? Oh, you have to invite me too, is the rules. Or did you? I haven’t checked my email.
Okay, I saw where it explains them all RIGHT BESIDE IT. I must be tired. That’s what I’m going with.

Hmmm….I’m not sure why you couldn’t DM on Twitter. I don’t have any blocks set up that I know about. I have given you the ability to upload pictures, so you can do that now. That also gave you the ability to publish, but I ask that you don’t do that yet. Save it as a draft and let me know when you’re ready because I want to try to limit to one guest post per day.

Guest posting always gives me anxiety. I feel like I’ll never live up to expectations on someone else’s blog and all of their followers will be like, WTF is this?! So much stress. I’ve done it twice…lol I have to work up the confidence.
