Well done, Daily Post.  Well done indeed.  It’s about time we got away from the morbid and insanely grim prompts and on to something we can all have fun with.  And now, I shall define a word that never existed before now, and added it to my already leviathan vocabulary.

Invent a definition for the word “flangiprop,” then use the word in a post.

flangiprop  [flang-i-prop]  verb

  1. the act of speaking or writing the word Unshitty™
Example:  This is a totally Unshitty™ blog.
    You just flangipropped.  Bad ass.

Origin:  Some dude(ette) for the Daily Post came up with it under suspect circumstances.  The motive has yet to be determined.

And there you are.  You’re vocabulary lesson is over for today.  You’re welcome.

Yesterday’s response to my Be Our Guest! post was overwhelming and unexpected.  I honestly did not expect that kind of turnout and it excites me to know that so many of you want to post here and want me to grace your blog with my inane ramblings.  It really means a great deal to me.

In that regard, however, I may require your assistance with topics for those of you who want to guest post here or want me to guest post on your blog.  Due to the unexpected response to my open invitation I have a ton of writing to do now, which I’m okay with, but I’ll need help generating ideas.

Also, a couple of you said you were intimidated by the prospect of blogging here because of the so-called high standard set here.  I would first like to say thank you for saying that, I take that as a compliment.  Secondly, despite your kind words I don’t think what I write is anything spectacular.  I just put into words what rattles around in my weird mind and it occasionally makes sense.  Lastly, please don’t be afraid to post here.  Look at it as an opportunity of sorts.  There are over 330 followers on this blog.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to get your work out there and attract a new audience, which, of course, is why I decided to do this.

I named this here weblog Stuphblog™ because I didn’t want this site to be a one-dimensional site.  When I started this blog oh so long ago, I envisioned a blog with multiple authors and topics so that there would be something here for everyone to enjoy.  So please, don’t be afraid to post anything here.  You can post your fictional work, your poetry, your bitches and/or rants, your book reviews, your movie reviews, or any other thing you feel like writing about.  There are no rules other no racism.  I will not tolerate racism or xenophobia.  We are all people and should not be subjected to criticism simply because of our nationality, heritage, or the color of our skin.

Finally, in regards to the guest posting, so many of you volunteered to post here that I’m going to have to come up with some sort of system for publishing them.  For now, I’m going to limit guest posts to one per day, and I’ll publish them in the order they come in.  The best way to contact me in regards to guest posting is my email, which again is twindaddy44@aim.com.

Finally, I know I have an eclectic group of followers here who embrace many different aspects of religion, faith, or spirituality.  I would like to ask you to send positive thoughts, prayers (if that’s your thing), or well wishes (or all three if you’d like) to a really good blogging buddy of mine who is experiencing some health problems currently.  I won’t go into specifics because I don’t know if she wants the information out there, but this particular blogger was one of my first true followers and has been very supportive me both in the blogging world and in my personal life.  She offered constructive criticism when I asked for it and offered words of encouragement when I hit rock-bottom last year.  She even stopped by my blog occasionally and left well-wishes on my blog during my two-month hiatus last year while I was buried underneath a mountain of personal struggles, under the weight of depression, and reinventing myself.  Surely this person by now knows I’m talking about her and I’d like to tell you that you’re in my thoughts and that I hope nothing serious is wrong and that you’re back to full health in short order.  And I heart you.  If you need anything you know how to reach me.
