Dearest Readers of Stuph,
Twindaddy, Superbitch, jaded, and I are aware that we have the most talented, smartest, and best looking readers on the web (And that, dear jaded, is how to properly pull off ass-kissery. Now you know…..and knowing is half the battle). Because of this, I now come to you for help.
As many of you know, I have my own blog. I started it not long before Twindaddy started this one. When he started Stuph Blog, he kindly asked me to tag along, so I joined him in his quest to teach the world the greatness of Stuph.
Since that time, with the exception of a few odd posts (and I do mean odd), my blog has been sitting there, doing nothing but gathering dust. For some reason, this has bothered me for the last few days. I feel that if we have it, we might as well use it for something other than collecting Captain Procrastination stories.
Twindaddy, on the other hand feels that we should just leave it alone since we can’t do anything on it that we don’t already do on Stuph Blog.
What do you think? Is Twindaddy right: should we just leave it alone? Or should we do something with it? If you think that we should do something with it, what do you suggest? Is there anything that we don’t do now that you’d like to see us do?
That’s a tough one. I’m really liking the fiction writing twindaddy is doing. Maybe you could move the fiction writing over to a dedicated blog and start telling a story in installments. All the back posts would be in one place to catch up?
This is exactly what I was thinking. Make the other blog dedicated to fiction writing and then set up a blogroll type widget that you can link the last 3 or so stories. The same can be done on the other blog to send people this way. Seems like a win-win to me.
I think you should have as many blogs as possible. How else are we ever supposed to take over the www?

No, it wasn’t in there when I originally posted it. I fixed it last night after I read through it again and noticed I hadn’t done it when I first published. I need one of those alarms that tell me I’m forgetting something before I post, like the ones in your car to tell you that you left your lights on. Did any of that make sense?
Ah, ok. I’m not going crazy then. At least, not because of that. Good to know.
I think you should keep it and do something with it. As for what? There are so many different things… is there anything in particular that you really love about someone elses blog that you could do to? Is there one thing that you are completely splendid at, that you could make the one main focus of this other blog space? (Like I thought of creating a second blog, just for my prison experience, stories from the inside and prison talk Yes…I did some time in prison. Don’t judge or be scared though, I’m a good soul, just a drug addict who lost her head) Does this help at all? I know it’s kinda vague, but you are so talented!! I would be a following groupie of this other space..

You won’t hear me judge. I’ve been prescribed pain pills for years because of my back and have been addicted to them at times (withdrawl is a bitch). A few of the others have suggested putting more of my fiction up there. I’ve got another story that I’m working on that I can start putting on there, but I’m going to wait until I have more of it typed up before I start putting it on either blog.
Eeeeek! Withdrawl is terrible! Pain pills is how it all started for me. (shaking my head) Grateful to be through it and in recovery now.
Yes! Fiction is super fun! I’m having a blast with it on Tryst! (It’s my newest addition)… You should def add that to your line-up!

Dear Revis…that’s not ass kissery, that’s the truth (and my lips didn’t even get chapped). Even though Skidmark is evil, I’m jealous at his ability to create ass vomit in others at a moment’s notice and I would read here or there or anywhere bc it is hilarious…a blog is a terrible thing to waste though.
Just because something is true, does not mean it isn’t ass-kissery. My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world to me, but sometimes when I tell her this, it’s still ass-kissery even though it’s the truth.
Just designate one of the blogs for hardcore porno.
But then I wouldn’t be able to blog at work…

Well, perhaps. It’s blocked by the web filter so….yeah, probably.
Then it sounds like you need to modify the web filter.

Yup, yup.
I have two blogs because one is so damn specific with the topic that I didn’t leave myself room there for anything but the one thing. Stuph is a place for stuph, so I don’t think you could really go wrong doing everything here. That said, if Captain Procrastinator is going to stop procrastinating and put up regularly scheduled episodes, it might be worth it to keep it there, but then it could all be here and put together in one of those special places up there at the top. Whatever. I can wish-wash and flip-flop with the best of them, so you pick.
I’m not sure how much longer I can keep up Captain Procrastination. It’s kinda hard to come up with stories about a guy who does as little as he possibly can…
Lord, I don’t have enough time to keep up with one blog — two would send me into hyperspace! Then again, there’s only one of me.
A dedicated fiction blog sounds good. But things really are going well here at Stuph.
Apparently I am happy either way…
I’m going to wait a few more days and see if anyone else wants to share their opinion, but I think I’m just going to have a few post series on my blog and do the rest over here. That way I’m not completely wasting my blog, plus I still get to grace the Stuph Mafia with my presence.

Well, at least someone finally agrees that my presence is graceful. I can’t even get the wife to do that. She just rolls her eyes and calls me crazy.
