Recently nominated as the first Unshitty™ blog on the internet, and the recipient of numerous other superficial blogging awards, Stuphblog is a blog where no topic is safe.  We will discuss whatever we please whenever we please.  We will not be politically correct, nor will we be sorry we offended you.  Afterall, this blog is merely filled with words, and is therefore nothing to be upset about.

We will write.  We will opine.  We may even entertain you.  Like momma always said, this blog is like a box of chocolates.  If you leave it out long enough it will start to melt.  Momma sure was special.

Features

We have a few features which I will briefly, uh, brief you about.  There are currently eight, but I could (and have) whimsically decide to add or subtract segments and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Blunt Life Coach: Twindaddy has another personality, and it’s Blunt Life Coach™.  Somewhere deep within Twindaddy’s Unshitty™ cranium resides a very intelligent, however extremely abrasive, soul.  BLC™ will field questions (a la Dear Abby) and respond to them with scorn, sarcasm, and the cold, brutal truth, because that’s how he rolls.  Nothing, and I mean nothing, is sugar-coated here.

Things I Should Not Be Subjected To:  These posts will be in regards to things the author of that particular post should never have to see, hear, taste, feel, or smell.  That’s all five senses, right?  These posts will generally involve things that annoy us, piss us off, or make us SODH (shake our damn heads).

Hero of the Moment: These posts will extol a person (or people) who have done something suitably heroic or something that we wish we could have done.  Throwing eggs at Lady Gaga, for example.

Random Thought of the Day:  If you need this topic explained to you then you should probably move along to another blog, as you will not be tolerated here.

Random Thoughts: When Twindaddy becomes extremely bored, he will peruse the current news and post links to interesting stories and then attempt to make witty comments about them.  He thinks these comments are usually funny, but he’s always wrong usually.

Mad Libbed:  This is when we take an old post of ours and turn it into a Mad Lib game for all to enjoy.  If you happen to see this game…PLAY DAMMIT!  We worked hard making that post for your enjoyment!

Customer Service Fails: All three writers have worked in the customer service field for many years.  This segment will feature a collection of hilarious stories belittling the average customer for their idiocy, a company for having shoddy service, or other customer service reps that we have worked with that do inane things.  For instance, say you put your laptop in the oven and forgot it was in there later when you preheated the oven.  You would find yourself a spot on our virtual wall of shame for such an imbecilic act.

Thoughts from the Throne:  These are posts wrought from my from my brain whilst I’m perched upon the throne.  Equipped with my Android phone and the handy-dandy WordPress app, I bestow upon thee my most productive thoughts while I…uh, well, you know.  Try not to think about it while you’re wading deep in the exquisite pool of thoughts contained in these epic posts.

YouTube Tuesday:  On Tuesday, December 18, 2012, YouTube Tuesday was born.  Becca of 25toFly bestowed upon the world a most wonderful regifted post in regards to Tuesdays, specifically how bland they are.  Twindaddy responded with a YouTube video of Tuesday’s Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  She came back with Tuesday’s Heartbreak by Stevie Wonder.  They went back and forth a few times until Twindaddy won their contest by posting a David Bowie video, because evidently she thinks David Bowie rules.  Or some such.  Becca then dubbed Tuesday YouTube Tuesday, and since Twindaddy is a dedicated Flyster™ he has decided to carry on that tradition every Tuesday until he doesn’t anymore.

Sports

We mostly care about football here, so we’ll post regularly about the NFL and often about collegiate football, but sparingly about all other sports.  Baseball, basketball, and hockey just don’t interest us as much as football.

Media

We love to read, listen to music, and watch movies.  Then we will opine about them here.  Easy, right?

Current Events

We will talk about news, politics, or give editorials on either here.  This is a seldom used topic, but occasionally something happens nationally that evokes an irate rant and we use this blog as an outlet for that.

Life

Life happens, so we talk (or bitch) about it here.

Writing

Both Twindaddy and Revis Edgewater love to write.  *audible gasp!*  Bloggers who love to write?? 

It may seem inconceivable, but ’tis not.  Both Twindaddy and Revis pen write type poetry, fiction, and short stories alike.  They may be nonsensical and shoddy, but it’s better than anything E.L. James can cobble together.

Daily Prompt:  If you don’t know what this is you must be new to WordPress.  FNG’s, I swear.  Okay, a blog run by WordPress called the Daily Post gives everyone a daily topic about which to write because, as they are writers themselves, they know that we all suffer from writer’s block.  Or sometimes writer’s boulder.

Dead Set: This is a novel written by Revis Edgewater.  He has only posted parts 1-4, but then became a father and quit posting them.  Slacker.  One day, he hopes for finish editing his story and to post the rest of it, but don’t hold your breath, because it’s detrimental to your health.

Miraculous Man: In the criminal justice system, customer service based offenses are considered especially inconsequential. In random customer service based businesses, a dedicated, and unrecognized, superhero terminates these heinous crimes in progress while dressed in repugnant attire and refers to himself as Miraculous Man. These are his stories.

The Drun Kenman Annals:  The Drun Kenman Annals, authored by Twindaddy, is a series of journal entries chronicling the adventures of Drun Kenman, a common stormtrooper.

The Last Hunt: The Last Hunt is a Star Wars fan-fiction novella authored by Twindaddy and chronicles the exploits of Afcuyo Fraden, a bounty hunter whose quarry is Dash Rendar.  The events of this novella coincide with the events of Shadows of the Empire.  It is a truly fascinating and well-written piece*, if lacking originality.  You may even laugh a couple of times.

Stuph

This is a catch-all for posts that don’t fit anywhere else.  Kind of like that junk drawer you keep all of the stuph™ that really doesn’t fit in anywhere else.  This is that drawer, metaphorically speaking.  We love stuph™.
