Earthquake goalkeeper David Bingham was just trying to set up his offense to score.  What happened next?  Pure luck.

Bingham dropped the ball and kicked it clear across the field.  The other goalkeeper for West Brom didn’t appear to be paying attention because he doesn’t even move until the ball is almost past him.

Check out this goal by none other than David Beckham.  He’s able to hook the ball so it will actually go into the goal, and the ball somehow manages to make it between a couple players’ legs to sneak into the back of the goal.

Equal parts luck and skill, this is a pretty amazing shot.
