Finally home! Relaxation had to wait. My child headed for the back door to play outside.
“No, wait!” I cried.
Too late. BAM! Right into the glass door he couldn’t tell was there.

I’m not sure how long I just sat there cradling Katellan’s head. It could have been two seconds, or it could have been two hours. When I finally looked up, I saw the Trandoshan staring at me. He didn’t have his blaster pointed at me this time, however. “That shot was meant for you,” he said in Huttese. “Be glad your friend took it for you.” A red bolt of energy passed over his head, but he didn’t duck. Instead, he continued talking to me. “I don’t have to kill you now. He will do it for me.”
With that, he ran out of the hanger. I stayed down on the ground with the body. The sound of footsteps behind me made me turn. Nalith was walking up to me with a scowl on his face. He stopped right in front of me and began screaming. “My employer told me you were going to be a pain to work with, and he was right. If you had done what you were told to do, and left well enough alone, none of this would have happened!”

The state fair. I hated the state fair. Sure, it was fun for the kids and I guess that’s what matters, but I loathe it. I offered to let my wife take the kids by herself but for some reason she wasn’t as thrilled with the idea as I hoped she would be.
The kids had used up their supply of tickets for rides and we were heading towards the exit when it happened.
“Look, honey!” she exclaimed. ”A fortune-teller!”
I didn’t believe in any of that nonsense and wasn’t impressed. So I politely said, “So what?”

Today was a horrible day for justice. I, Miraculous Man, made an inexcusable mistake. I suppose there is a first time for everything, but there should never have been a first time for this.
I was making my rounds at Wal-Mart, looking for any injustices being committed against my customer service brethren. I had almost finished my way around the track, as it’s referred to, and had yet to see any mischief afoot.
As I passed by the Garden Center, an animated discussion ensnared my attention. There seemed to be a heated exchange between a customer and an employee. The customer seemed quite agitated and was flailing his arms about while he spoke cacophonously. I made my way towards the duo so I could ascertain the situation.

Once again, I found myself in my ship with a gun pointed at me. I looked over at Envy and asked, “Why is it that every time I open my ramp now, there’s some psychopath waiting there with a gun?”
When I woke back up, my jaw was hurting. Envy was sitting there shaking his head at me. “How did you possibly think that you’d get away with that,” he queried. “He was standing right next to you, you idiot.”
“Shut up.”
“By the way, the Trandoshan urinated on the ship a couple of times while you were knocked out.”

Darkness surrounded him. He looked around and saw nothing except for emptiness. Suddenly, a flash of light momentarily blinded him. When his vision finally cleared, he saw a man and two doors. The man he knew, but hadn’t seen in a long time. The doors were still a mystery. They stood, staring at each other for a long time. Neither of them wanted to be the first to speak. This went on for what seemed like an eternity, which was saying something considering who these two men were.
“Christian,” the other man asked, breaking the silence. “What an apt name for one who has been doing a lot of killing lately. I am beginning to think you’re after my job.”

Samantha opened her eyes. She couldn’t remember where she was. Looking around, she realized that she was still in her living room, lying on her couch. That’s when she saw her father holding Bethany. Getting up, she almost stepped on DS. His face carried a look of pain. Samantha wanted to get her daughter away from Christian before she confronted him. “Bethany,” she said as she walked over to them. “It’s time for bed.”
“But I wanna stay up with you and Grampa,” she begged.

I ordered Envy away from me. There were too many things going through my head right now, and I really needed to clear them out. Envy would just distract me from that. Next, I went to my quarters to lay down. I needed sleep that didn’t come courtesy of a stun blast. Processing all of this new information without any outside interference was another must, so I locked the door. Somehow, an ‘exotic herb’ that’s supposed to help people sleep was ingested (I’m still not sure how that happened), and when I woke up, our trip to Tatooine was halfway over.
My head was finally clear and I could think something without actually saying it (I checked…..many,many times). So, I began going over everything again in my head. A few things became clear to me. It was around these few things that I formulated my plan. After I had my plan nearly finished, I went over it a third time and looked for potential holes.
