Soooo, anyway, I just want to pimp out the social media sites associated with this here weblog, especially since I just added a page to Google+ yesterday.  What?  You’ve never heard of Google+?  That’s okay.  That means that you’re probably not a hipster, and that’s good.

I’m kinda feeling down today and wasn’t planning on posting today, but with enough coffee in me now I’m feeling a bit better and realized I needed to do a YouTube Tuesday post.  Well, I guess I don’t need to, but in order for me to not feel like a total slacker/loser/hack I do need to.

I could think of no other theme this week other than doing another playlist.  And I can’t even think of a theme for my playlist.  I’m so lame today.  So here goes.  Oh, I guess I could throw the logo in here somewhere.

Social media.  Bringing us together since the early 90′s.  Can’t leave the house?  Hang out online!  Social media enables us to communicate with those we wouldn’t otherwise be able to communicate with an a consistent basis.  We can use it to share our lives, pictures, words, and ideas.  Or, as it is more frequently used for, jokes, memes, political statements, and idealism.  Click like if you agree.

Social media has its detractors, though.  It’s being blamed for an unbelievably increasing amount of failed marriages due to infidelity.  People find old girlfriends or boyfriends online and decide to answer that old question “what might have been.”  Then there’s cyber bullying and other fiascos like the Manti Te’o hoax.

I wasn’t going to do today’s prompt because I don’t really have a favorite movie.  I have a plethora of movies that are among my favorites, but not a clear-cut favorite amongst them.  But then I realized that this would be my seventh day in a row of doing the Daily Prompt, so I should probably just do it and think of something to write just so I can say that I participated for a week straight.

I have very limited internet access at work. Basically, my job is to pack and ship boxes all day so the only thing they let us do online is use Google to verify shipping addresses. We’re able to look up other stuph, but it won’t let us click on very many links (although it lets me check my email, which doesn’t make much sense). There was a lull in shipping the other day and I had a few minutes to fill. I could have done other things that needed to be done in the warehouse, but I thought a better use of my time was looking up Stuph Blog on Google.

Obviously, the first thing that popped up was the actual Stuph Blog site. Then, there were a few others from other blogs where our name is mentioned.  After those, I came across something different. I didn’t think it would let me, but I clicked on the link anyways. It actually took me to the site and it’s safe to say that the site was informative.
